How to find us
Gaia-Oasis is located in the North of Bali.
From the airport Ngurah Rai in the South of Bali to us you will need around three hours with the car. If you would like to, we will arrange the airport-transfer for you. During the tour to North-Bali you will get already a very interesting impression of this beautiful island - and with a bit luck - you can enjoy the breathtaking view of three Bali vulcanos.
If you drive by your own (attention: left traffic, International Driving Licence is necessary) or you have your own driver, please follow the way-description.
Instruction to find Gaia-Oasis:
Take the road direction Ubud and Payangan. When you come near Ubud don’t turn direction Ubud instead keep going direction Payangan. (If you are already in Ubud then leave town heading towards Payangan.) Follow the road to Payangan and keep going straight through the town of Payangan until you reach the end of this road. This will bring you all the way to the Mount Batur Crater rim
near Kintamani. There turn left towards Singaraja. This road is winding through mountains. After about 15 minutes of driving start looking at the names of the small villages until you come to the small village of Lateng. At Lateng look for the Gaia-Oasis sign and/or the sign towards Bondalem. There turn right, into a small road and then immediately follow the road around towards the left.
Now keep going all the way down the mountain, a beautiful drive. When you reach the end of the road you will be at the coast road. Here turn right for an other 2.6km to Gaia-Oasis. Direction southeast into the town of Tejakula.
On the mountain side of the road you will pas the Tejakula Post Office, then the Tejakula Wartel and then a Soccer Field. Immediately after the soccer field you will cross a bridge and exactly ½ kilometer after the bridge you will see on the left side of the road a yellow and a white Bali flag on bamboo poles and on the right side a sign saying Gaia-Oasis directly in front of the TOKO Aditya.
Here turn into the small gang and about 50 meters down you will see the parking area to your right. Park your car here and then follow the small path/gang by foot to us at the ocean. If we know the approximate time of your arrival we will have some of the Oasis staff meet you at the parking area and help carry any luggage (or the staff will pick it up after you arrived at the office).
If you want to come to Gaia-Oasis from the South of Bali via the coast road then it is about a 4 ½ to 5 hours drive. You will find the yellow and white flags and the Gaia-Oasis Parking sign on the right side of the road shortly after entering the town of Tejakula.
