Our Buildings

All bungalows of Gaia-Oasis are in tune with nature and handbuilt by Balinese. They are private property of Gaia-Oasis members, are comfortably and lovingly furnished and individually designed. Local traditions and customs have influenced the whole site.

Most bungalows consist of two units, which can be used as single-double- or three-bed rooms, as desired.

There are two proto-types:

A. One story type
Two double-rooms with two open-air bathrooms,
in the middle connected by a common kitchen
and a large terrace.

B. Two story type
Ground floor: double room with terrace, bath and kitchen
1. floor: double room with bath and balcony

On the beach area we presently have 5 two-story- and 6 one-story-bungalows. Our mountain area consists of 2 one- and 2 two-story bungalows, one single house and one large guesthouse, fitted into the slope with 6 double rooms on 3 levels and a huge terrace.

The houses are constructed of bamboo, natural stone and wood, mostly covered by a traditional Alang-Alang-grass roof. They all have open-air baths, mosquito-nets, closets, towels, linen, and a day-ded. They are being cleaned and taken care of by our friendly staff.
